Veteran’s Day Parade

The annual Winston-Salem Veteran’s Day Parade will be on Saturday, November 10. Our pack has elected to march in the parade this year. For those wishing to participate, we will meet on the corner of 4th and Broad streets between 9:15 am and 9:30 am. We will have the pack flag, so you can use that as a reference point. The parade is approximately one mile long, ending at Corpening Plaza, and is an easy walk back to the parking area. I typically try to park near the middle of the parade route for convenience.

Have your scouts wear their Class A uniforms to march in the parade. Parents and siblings should feel free to march with the scouts, as we are promoting family scouting. This is usually an exciting event, as the young boys and girls seem to like being a part of a parade.

See you at the parade!

  1. Thanks Shane! I know the kids will really enjoy this and great to be part of honoring our veterans. Could you update this post with info on the Troop 910 BBQ to follow?
