Scouting for Food was a SUCCESS!

Congratulations Scouts! Pack 910’s first year participating in Scouting For Food will have to become an annual tradition, what a great day!

Scouting for Food was a great Success!

A big congratulations to all the scouts who helped out with the Pack 910 Food Drive! Thanks to Scoutmaster Dyer’s coordination and leadership, perhaps we can expect Scouting for Food to become an annual service project for the Pack. At the Pack 910 Meeting this Sunday, we’ll share the results of what we were able to accomplish. Good work, scouts!!

The Pack 910 Derby will be held on Saturday March 12.

We will have a workshop on Sunday, Feb 27 at a location TBA very soon. In the meantime, there are some great resources for the Derby on Scoutlife.org.

Bonus Event! Scout Night at WFU Basketball!

Scout night is Feb 26. Scouts can get tickets to the Wake vs. Louisville game at a discounted rate. If this is something you would like to participate in, please let Scoutmaster Chris Dyer know! We can go cheer on the Demon Deacs for this fun event together! Let Chris Dyer know you are interested here.

Camping with Pack 910!

Carolina Beach March 4 – 6
Carolina Beach camping registrations are due as soon as possible. It’s a special experience, only offered every other year! Registration deadline for Carolina Beach is Sunday, Feb 20.
Spring Into Scouting April 1 – 3
Spring into Scouting is a new camping experience this year at Camp Raven Knob. If you attended the Fall camping trip at Raven Knob, expect this to be a similar experience.
New River Camping May 20 – 22
Camping right on the New River Trail, this is a relaxed and very family friendly camping trip in Galax, VA. An easy drive from Winston, it’s a fun trip and we do an easy, slow-paced bike ride too.
Resident Camp June 15 – 18
Be sure to get Resident Camp at Raven Knob on your calendar now – your scout will create lasting memories and work on rank advancement too. If you can’t attend the whole time, you still have the option of attending some of the days.
