We are looking forward to seeing you very soon! The first Pack meeting of the year is planned for Sunday Sept 11 at 3:30 pm in the Colhoun Room at St. Paul’s Church. We’ve got fun activities for the kids and orientation for new and returning parents alike! We’ll plan to finish by 5 pm and are very eager to have our scouting families back together for what promises to be an adventurous and exciting year for Pack 910 with all the great activities and campouts we have planned!
The Pack calendar is now published so you can keep a copy for yourself, and we will have printed copies at the Pack meeting on September 11. Very soon registrations will open up for all of our camping trips and outings, and we hope you will plan to join us for our annual campout – our first of the year – at Sugar Valley on Friday night, September 16. Sugar Valley is in Davie County, 30 minutes from downtown, and is an easy camping trip with dinner, a campfire, and Young Eagle flights on Saturday morning! You can register for that trip here.
As you can see in the picture, the Bike Rodeo last weekend was a fun and high energy event. Special thanks to the Winston-Salem Police Bike Patrol who taught us hand signals, bike safety, and bike control, and to Luly Beckles from Atrium Health and the Safe Kids Project for helping us fit our helmets properly and take good care of ourselves!
See you Sunday, September 11!
