First Pack Meeting on 9/8 is a Field Day!

Mark your calendars for our first official Pack Meeting of the year! We will meet this Sunday, September 8th from 3:30-5:00pm at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.

We will begin as a group upstairs in the Colhoun Room. After a while, our Cub Scouts will head outdoors for some Field Day fun and games. Thanks to Scouts from Troop 934, we will have plenty of older Scouts helping out!

While the kids are outside, we’d like to have at least one parent from each family remain upstairs in the Colhoun Room while we cover new family orientation, review the calendar, discuss fundraising, popcorn, uniforms, Pack membership and more!

This is a Class B event, so Scout t-shirts are appropriate. No t-shirt? No problem! Many new families will be in attendance, and you don’t need a t-shirt to participate. All new Cub Scouts will receive a Class B shirt as part of their registration.

Join us in Hiddenite on Sunday, 9/15. Register today!

Register for Hiddenite Gem Mining, 9/15. Please share with friends and prospective new Cub Scouts about our trip to Emerald Hollow Mine in Hiddenite, NC. Located just an hour’s drive west from Winston-Salem, we will meet at Emerald Hollow Mine at 9:30am, with an option to meet earlier and caravan from St. Paul’s. The Pack covers the cost for our Cub Scouts to sluice and dig, and lunch is also provided afterwards. This is an awesome opportunity for new Cub Scouts to join our growing Scouting Family at Cub Pack 910. We do need registrations for planning purposes, so be sure you and yours (along with any friends you are inviting) are registered. Registration is due by September 13th. Campout at Sugar Valley

Register for Sugar Valley Campout, 10/4-10/5.
Registration is open for our first campout of the year! This is a fun, relaxed campout, just 30 minutes from Winston-Salem in Mocksville, NC. Plan to arrive between 5:00pm and 7:00pm on Friday night. Dinner and breakfast will be cooked and provided in camp. Saturday morning, weather permitting, we will have pilots volunteer their time and provide their own aircraft to offer all eligible Cub Scouts a flight as part of the EAA’s Young Eagle program.
