Invite a Friend (Year Opening Events!)

Dear Scouts and Scout Parents,

Pack 910 has some exciting events planned for the year and we want all children (boys and girls) in grades K-5 who are interested to enjoy them.  Many of us joined Pack 910 because a friend invited us and I strongly encourage you to do the same.  It can be a friend from your neighborhood, school, church, sports team, etc.  In addition to making scouting more fun by sharing the experience with friends, the recruiting effort helps ensure that Pack 910 will continue to thrive as our Arrow of Light Scouts bridge to Boy Scouts.  Please try to think of at least one friend to invite to one of the events below.  Your child may enjoy offering the attached letter to his or her friend to help explain the fun things we do in scouts.  I would also suggest providing a copy of the attached schedule.

August 26

Pack 910’s annual Bike Rodeo at Whitaker Elementary School 3:30 – 5:00 PM.  This event will involve bike races/contests and ice cream.  There will also be special guests attending.

  • Paul’s Cycling will be able to inspect bikes and make adjustments/repairs.
  • Brenner’s trauma center will be fitting scouts for free bike helmets.
  • The Forsyth County Sherriff’s Department will be discussing safety.

September 8

Hiddenite Gem Mine (more information to come)

September 16

First Pack Meeting at St. Paul’s in the Colhoun Room, 4:00 – 5:30 PM.

For additional information on Pack 910, they can visit our new website at https://cubscouts910.org or send a message to email@cubscouts910.org.

Please feel free to refer them to Lee Danhauer (Cubmaster), Jake Wharton (Assistant Cubmaster), Matthew Philips (Pack Committee Chairman), or myself as well.

Remember, we need everyone’s help in maintaining a strong pack!

Thanks,
Marshall Smith
