What: Parent – Scout Weekend
When: October 23–25, 2020
Where: Raven Knob Scout Reservation
Action Needed: Register ASAP – by Friday 9/4
The Parent-Scout weekend at Camp Raven Knob is a go! While you may not have heard much from us the last many weeks, we’ve been closely monitoring opportunities for the Pack to reconvene and begin scouting. The ability for Pack 910 to gather mirrors the guidance issued by our Charter organization. In the near future, restrictions will ease to the point that we can take on our first camping adventure of the scouting year.
If this will be your first visit to Camp Raven Knob, we welcome you with open (and socially distanced) arms. It’s a great experience that will create lasting memories for your scout and you.
Please register to join us for Parent – Scout Weekend at Camp Raven Knob.
CAMP RAVEN KNOB IS DRAMATICALLY LIMITING ATTENDANCE. In order to accommodate health and safety measures, the number of people at camp will be a quarter of what is usual. We must register our Pack by Saturday morning, 9/5 to reserve a campsite. If you and your scout can plan to attend please complete the registration form by Friday night. See additional information from Old Hickory Council here.

Registration Cost
Because Old Hickory Council charges us for each attendee and we buy a lot of food (all meals will be cooked at our campsite) to support this trip, we need to charge $35 for each attendee (scout or parent). We will send you a PayPal invoice accordingly. If you prefer to pay by another method, please just let us know.
Dates and Times
We arrive at Raven Knob late on Friday afternoon, and Camporee ends on Sunday morning.
Need camping equipment?
We’ll send out equipment and packings lists closer to the date of the trip.
If you’re not yet equipped for camping, let Lee Danhauer know on the registration form and we’ll figure out what you need. We can cover almost anything you might need for this first trip, and that will give you a chance to test it out and determine your needs for the future.
Remember, we don’t ever want resources or equipment to stand in the way of one of our Scouts having a great experience with nature, their friends, and their parents. Let Daniel or Lee know if equipment or money is an issue.
