Back to school means back to scouting! We are kicking things off with a showing at St. Paul’s Parrish Fair this Sunday at approximately 10:30 (after the morning Worship Service). We’ve had plenty of volunteers to represent the Pack – so no additional assistance is needed!
HOWEVER, we invite you to come by and say hello! We have fliers and bookmarks and other cool stuff your scouts can bring to school with them to invite their friends out to Pack 910!
Hiddenite Gem Mine, 9/9. Please share with friends and prospective new scouts about the trip to Hiddenite Gem Mine on Saturday, September 9. It’s a fun outing, the Pack pays for the kids to sluice and have a great time, and it’s an awesome opportunity for new scouts and scout families to join our growing Scouting Family at Cub Pack 910. We do need registrations for planning purposes so be sure you and yours (along with any friends you are inviting) are registered. Registration is due by September 3. Register for the event here.
Trip Registrations. You can start signing up for trips as well. All Fall trips are open for registration at cubscouts910.org/event-registration
First Pack Meeting on 9/10 is a Field Day with Pizza Party!
Mark your calendars and plan to attend the first official Pack meeting of the year! That will be held on Sunday, September 10 at 3:30 pm in the Colhoun Room and playground area of St. Paul’s. Invite your friends to come join us and see how much fun we have at Pack 910.
Popcorn!
Popcorn and Pizza? Well, no, not quite. But our annual popcorn sale will start with a splash! In addition to each scout having their own “sales sheet” they can use to sell popcorn to friends and neighbors (and their own online store), we have several opportunities for “Show and Sell”. Pack 910 will set up a table at the entrance to Lowes Foods, and Walmart Neighborhood Market stores on select weekend dates in September and October. At the meeting on Sept 10 we will be presenting these dates and describing the opportunity for scouts to participate in those events!
