Pack Meeting on Sunday, 3/4
We have a special guest coming from the City of Winston-Salem, you don’t want to miss this event! Sunday, March 3 at 3:30 pm in the Colhoun Room.
BSA Dues.
You should have received an email with an invoice from BSA to renew your dues for your scout at $80, with the option to add Scout Life magazine to the membership. Let us know if you did not receive the email so we can fix any discrepancies.
Pinewood Derby.
GREAT JOB to all our scouts who raced this past week! And thank you scouts and parents alike for your patience as we worked through the kinks of the system. The good news is that we learned from it and have identified the issue so we can address it in the future. Special thanks to Vadim Chernushkin who spent countless hours researching software, building componentry and running many, many tests. Even with all that, it’s nearly impossible to account for every challenge we might face. When the start gate was triggering prematurely, he immediately began troubleshooting with poise. Thank you Vadim, we appreciate you!
Looking ahead…
The Blue and Gold Banquet is March 17. The banquet is planned for 4:00 until 6:00 pm. Blue and Gold is a special event in which scouts receive their rank advancements and celebrate all they’ve accomplished in the past year! This year will be a potluck event. Watch for a perfect potluck link to come out later and please make plans to attend this celebratory event! |
