Pack Updates and Raven Knob Registrations

Pack meeting on Sunday 9/26 at St. Paul’s. Registrations due now for Raven Knob Fall Campout (October 7-9).

It was a great campout at Sugar Valley! I know all who came enjoyed it, and it was a pleasure to welcome so many new families to Pack 910! We had great help with the meals, setup, cleanup, and organization of the Young Eagle Flights. Our thanks to the Civil Air Patrol who organized things so well. One of the officers took a number of pictures and shared them here with me, enjoy!

Important – register for the Fall Campout at Raven Knob! It’s just a few weeks away and registrations are due now. Raven Knob is our scout camp reservation in neighboring Surry County. Your scouts will fall in love with Raven Knob and the memories and experiences they will have there. This is open to all Pack families and younger scouts are welcome. The Fall campout is a great introduction to Raven Knob. Several activity stations will be open, enough so scouts get a “taste” of what the scout camp is like. Arrive Friday night and stay the weekend (depart Sun morning), or if you’d just like to come for the day to check it out, that’s fine too. Please let me know if you have questions. Registration is only $35 per person and includes meals for the weekend. We have requested a site that has Adirondack cabins but the number of campers we register will determine whether we get that site or not. Be prepared to bring and pitch a tent and further details to be announced.

Registration is due by this Friday, September 23 (Old Hickory Council needs our count by the weekend). You can sign up on the Pack Website Registration page, or follow the direct link to that trip right here.

Next Pack and Den meeting: Sunday, September 25 from 3:30 to 5:00 pm at St. Paul’s Church, Colhoun Room!
